Glock Slides
I basically cut my teeth in hand engraving by working on aftermarket stainless steel Glock slides. I’ve done dozens—mostly back in 2016–2017.
Stainless steel is notoriously difficult to engrave by hand. That challenge, combined with just starting out, really pushed me at the time and supercharged my early learning process.
Lately, laser engraving has pretty much taken over the market—mainly due to the difficulty of working with the material, along with economic and time-saving factors. Laser will never compare to the real thing, but it's much cheaper due to the minimal time the process requires.
